Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 556:22

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
A joint administrator or guardian may have an action of account or assumpsit against the other administrator or guardian who shall refuse to apply the estate in his hands to the discharge of the just demands against it, or who shall refuse to account therefor, and he shall recover the amount thereof to which he shall be entitled.
