This chapter does not affect the power of the probate court for cause shown and upon petition of the trustee or affected beneficiary and upon appropriate notice to the affected parties to relieve a trustee from any restrictions on the trustee’s power that would otherwise be placed upon the trustee by the trust or by this chapter.

Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 564-A:5
- Beneficiary: A person who is entitled to receive the benefits or proceeds of a will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan, annuity, or other contract. Source: OCC
- petition: when used in connection with the equity jurisdiction of the superior court, and referring to a document filed with the court, shall mean complaint, and "petitioner" shall mean plaintiff. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:51
- Probate: Proving a will
- Trust: means an express trust created by: a judgment or decree of the probate court, including a special needs trust authorized by 42 U. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 564-A:1
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
