(a) Except as otherwise provided in the governing documents, a founder may dissolve a foundation by filing with the secretary of state a certificate of dissolution.
(b) The certificate of dissolution shall set forth:
(1) The foundation’s name;
(2) The date on which the dissolution was authorized; and
(3) A statement that the founder authorized the dissolution.
(c) A foundation’s dissolution is effective upon filing the certificate of dissolution.

- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
(1) The foundation’s name;
(2) The date on which the dissolution was authorized; and
(3) A statement that the founder authorized the dissolution.
(c) A foundation’s dissolution is effective upon filing the certificate of dissolution.
