Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 618:13

  • Writ: A formal written command, issued from the court, requiring the performance of a specific act.
In neither of the cases specified in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 618:10 and 12 shall a fine be released by the discharge of the prisoner, but a writ of execution therefor against the goods or estate of the prisoner may be at any time issued, upon request of the county commissioners or selectmen, without a writ of scire facias.
