- Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
A moderator shall not receive the vote of any voter who is challenged and who refuses to make an affidavit as required by N.H. Rev. Stat. § 659:27 or 659:29. A moderator who does receive the vote of such voter shall be guilty of a violation.
