Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 77:14-a
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Partnerships and limited liability companies having a usual place of business in this state, any member of which is an inhabitant thereof, shall be subject to taxes imposed by this chapter. If any of the members of the partnership or limited liability company are not inhabitants of this state only so much of the income thereof as is proportionate to the aggregate interest of the partners or members who are inhabitants of this state in the profits of the partnership or limited liability company shall be taxed.
