Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 80:42-a

  • Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
Towns and cities may retain and hold for public uses real property the title to which has been acquired by them by tax collector’s deed under the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 80:42, upon vote of the town meeting or city council approving the same.
