- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
If any officer or employee of the state who is responsible for certification of any work progress report, invoice, manifest or other document used as a basis for payment of any money appropriated under any capital or other budget act shall knowingly or wilfully make or certify any false statement in connection therewith, he shall be guilty of a class B felony.
