Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 99-D:4
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- governor and council: shall mean the governor with the advice and consent of the council. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:31-a
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Any determination by the attorney general or governor and council pursuant to N.H. Rev. Stat. § 99-D:2 shall not be admissible as evidence in the trial of any such action or claim.
