Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes > Chapter 72-A - Boat Fee
- Canoe: means a narrow, lightweight boat with its sides meeting in a sharp edge at each end propelled by one or more paddles. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 72-A:1
- following: when used by way of reference to any section of these laws, shall mean the section next preceding or following that in which such reference is made, unless some other is expressly designated. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:13
- Outboard: means a motorboat equipped with the motor located on the exterior of the hull, usually mounted on the stern. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 72-A:1
- primarily for commercial purposes: means that the vessel is not used for more than 14 days of noncommercial use per registration year. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 72-A:1
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
