Terms Used In Tennessee Code 26-6-104
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- foreign judgment: means any judgment, decree, or order of a court of the United States or of any other court which is entitled to full faith and credit in this state. See Tennessee Code 26-6-103
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Person: includes a corporation, firm, company or association. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- Record: means information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an electronic or other medium and is retrievable in a perceivable form. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
