- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
The administrator, guardian, trustee, or receiver shall have all the powers, and shall receive the same compensation, that other administrators, guardians, trustees, and receivers are entitled to receive for their services, and this compensation shall be approved by the court at the time of periodic accountings or in the order appointing the administrator, guardian, trustee, or receiver.
