Terms Used In Tennessee Code 30-2-309
- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- Statute of limitations: A law that sets the time within which parties must take action to enforce their rights.
The filing of claims within the time and in the manner provided in §§ 30-2-307 and 30-2-308 shall operate to arrest any statute of limitations applicable to the claims.
