- Child: means :
(i) A person under eighteen (18) years of age. See Tennessee Code 37-5-103 - State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
None of the provisions of this part shall apply when a child is brought into, or sent into, or taken out of, or sent out of the state, by a parent, stepparent, grandparent or other natural or legal guardian of the child.
