Tennessee Code 45-18-114 – Required records

(a) Each licensee shall make, keep and preserve the books, accounts, records, and documents as the commissioner may determine by rule.

Terms Used In Tennessee Code 45-18-114

Check: means any payment instrument. See Tennessee Code 45-18-102
Commissioner: means the commissioner of financial institutions. See Tennessee Code 45-18-102
Licensee: means a check cashing business licensed by the commissioner to engage in that business in accordance with this chapter. See Tennessee Code 45-18-102

(b) All records of the check cashing business shall be maintained separately by the licensee from any other business in which the licensee may engage.
