Terms Used In Tennessee Code 53-13-102
- Agriculture: means :
(i) The land, buildings and machinery used in the commercial production of farm products and nursery stock. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105 - Apparently wholesome deer meat: means deer meat that complies with applicable standards, requirements, and procedures established by the department of agriculture. See Tennessee Code 53-13-101
- Apparently wholesome food: means food that meets all standards of quality established by local, county, state and federal agricultural and health laws and regulations, even though the food is not readily marketable due to appearance. See Tennessee Code 53-13-101
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- Donor: The person who makes a gift.
- Gleaner: means a person who harvests for free distribution an agricultural crop that has been donated by the owner. See Tennessee Code 53-13-101
