Terms Used In Tennessee Code 56-12-116
- Association: means the Tennessee insurance guaranty association created under §. See Tennessee Code 56-12-104
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of commerce and insurance. See Tennessee Code 56-12-104
- Member insurer: means any person who:
(i) Writes any kind of insurance to which this part applies under §. See Tennessee Code 56-12-104
There shall be no liability on the part of, and no cause of action of any nature shall arise against, any member insurer, the association or its agents or employees, the board of directors, or the commissioner or the commissioner’s representatives for any action taken by them in the performance of their powers and duties under this part.
