Terms Used In Tennessee Code 65-18-106
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Where land on both sides of a track is owned by the same proprietor, convenient crossings shall be made and kept up at the expense of the corporation for the use of the proprietor, and all necessary cow gaps made.
