Terms Used In Tennessee Code 66-24-105
- Grantor: The person who establishes a trust and places property into it.
- Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.
Deeds for the settlement of personal property, in consideration of marriage, shall be registered in the county where the grantor or bargainor resides.
