Terms Used In Tennessee Code 68-140-332

  • License: means an authorization to a person to provide ambulance services. See Tennessee Code 68-140-302
  • Person: means any individual, association, organization or any other business entity, either profit or nonprofit, any state or local governmental entity, and federal agencies to the extent permitted by federal law. See Tennessee Code 68-140-302
  • State: means the state of Tennessee. See Tennessee Code 68-140-302
  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.

Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a person who is licensed, registered, or certificated to provide emergency medical services in this state and who is required by statute or rule to keep proof of their license, registration, or certification on their person may satisfy that requirement by providing the proof by electronic means.
