Tennessee Code 70-4-126 – Use of electronic or battery operated device to lure or kill a fox prohibited

(a) No person shall use any electronic or battery operated device for the purpose of luring, killing, or attempting to lure or kill a fox.

Under the Tennessee Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
class C misdemeanor	up to 30 days	up to $50

Person: means an individual, association, partnership, or corporation. See Tennessee Code 70-1-101

(b) A person who violates this section commits a Class C misdemeanor.

(c) Such prohibition does not apply to rabies control activities of the appropriate public health officials.
