Terms Used In Tennessee Code 70-4-408
- Agency: means the Tennessee wildlife resources agency. See Tennessee Code 70-4-402
- Possession: means both actual and constructive possession, and any control of the object or objects referred to. See Tennessee Code 70-1-101
- Wildlife: means wild vertebrates, mollusks, crustaceans, and fish. See Tennessee Code 70-1-101
Owners of unpermitted wildlife who do not qualify for a permit to possess such wildlife shall dispose of such wildlife to an approved recipient within thirty (30) days of notification by the agency. Each day of possession of unpermitted wildlife after such thirty-day period constitutes a separate violation.
