Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 12:3-50
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
Such entry shall be made by the board or any member thereof, by going on the land and announcing in the presence of one or more witnesses that all rights under the lease are forfeited to the state.
