- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. The Division of Fish and Game shall be under the immediate supervision of a director, who shall be a person with special training and experience in wild life management and otherwise qualified to direct the work of such division. The director of such division shall be appointed by the Fish and Game Council, subject to the approval of the Governor, and shall, unless sooner removed by the Governor as hereinafter provided, serve at the pleasure of such council and until the director’s successor is appointed and has qualified. He shall receive such salary as shall be provided by law.
The director shall administer the work of such division under the direction and supervision of the commissioner.
