Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 26:2H-91.1

  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
1. a. A person who applies to participate in the PACE program shall notify and provide to the PACE program provider valid proof of the person’s date of birth upon enrollment in the PACE program.

b. The PACE program provider shall notify and provide to each enrollee in the
PACE program, three months prior to the date on which the enrollee will be 65 years of age, contact and eligibility information for the Medicare program and any other information the PACE program provider shall deem necessary to ensure that enrollees in the PACE program have sufficient information to allow them to apply for Medicare coverage.

c. As used in this section, the definitions of section 1 of P.L.1997, c.296 (C. 26:2H-88) shall apply.
