Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 2A:61-2
- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. The officer or other person mentioned in section 2A:61-1 of this title having charge of any sale of real estate may, whenever the sale, in his opinion, will be promoted by publication in such a newspaper, in addition to the publications required by section 2A:61-1, select a newspaper printed in a foreign language, circulating in the neighborhood of the property to be sold. The same fees shall be allowed and paid for publication in a newspaper printed and published in a foreign language as in other cases.
