Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 32:2-23.33
- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. The port authority is authorized and empowered to cooperate with the States of New York and New Jersey, with any municipality thereof, with the Federal Government and any public authority, agency or commission of the foregoing or with any one or more of them or with any other person to the extent that it finds it necessary and desirable to do so in connection with the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, sale, transfer or other disposition of buses and ancillary bus facilities and to enter into an agreement or agreements, and from time to time to enter into agreements amending or supplementing the same, with said states, municipalities, Federal Government, public authorities, agencies, commissions and persons or with any one or more of them for or relating to such purposes.
