- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 1. a. Notwithstanding any law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission shall not impose a fee for a replacement driver’s license or the digitized picture fee if the replacement driver’s license is requested solely for the purpose of designating that the person shall donate all or any organs or tissues for the purposes of transplantation or therapy pursuant to section 1 of P.L.1978, c.181 (C. 39:3-12.2).
b. In order to receive a replacement driver’s license, pursuant to subsection a. of this section, a person shall first surrender the person’s current driver’s license to the commission.
