Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 3B:15-12
- Estate: means all of the property of a decedent, minor or incapacitated individual, trust or other person whose affairs are subject to this title as the property is originally constituted and as it exists from time to time during administration. See New Jersey Statutes 3B:1-1
- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
After deposit has been made pursuant to N.J.S. 3B:15-11, the court may fix the amount of the bond with respect to the value of the remainder only of the estate or fund, or in case all of the estate or fund is so deposited, then in an amount as the court shall determine to be sufficient under the circumstances.
