- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 21. Signing and Filing Pursuant to Judicial Order.
a. If a person required by this act to sign a record or deliver a record to the filing office for filing does not do so, any other person that is aggrieved may petition the Superior Court to order:
(1) the person to sign the record;
(2) the person to deliver the record to the filing office for filing; or
(3) the filing office to file the record unsigned.
b. If a petitioner under subsection a. of this section is not the limited liability company or foreign limited liability company to which the record pertains, the petitioner shall make the company a party to the action.
