- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 15. a. The New Jersey State Board of Nursing shall require that a person certified as an advanced practice nurse pursuant to P.L.1991, c.377 (C. 45:11-45 et seq.), as a condition of such continued certification, complete two credits of educational programs or topics related to end-of-life care as part of the total number of continuing education credits required by the board; except that the board may waive the provisions of this section for a specific individual if the board deems it appropriate to do so.
b. The New Jersey State Board of Nursing, pursuant to the “Administrative Procedure Act,” P.L.1968, c.410 (C. 52:14B-1 et seq.), shall adopt such rules and regulations as are necessary to effectuate the purposes of this section.
