- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 26. A person who, during a biennial licensing term, successfully completes one or more broker pre-licensure education courses as prescribed by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission shall be deemed to have fulfilled the continuing education requirement applicable to the license that such a person may seek to renew upon the conclusion of that license term. A person who is initially licensed as a salesperson during the first year of a two-year license term shall complete all applicable continuing education requirements in order to renew that license upon the conclusion of that license term. A person who is initially licensed as a salesperson in the second year of the two-year license term shall not be required to fulfill any continuing education requirements in order to renew that license at the conclusion of that license term.
