Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-103
- Administrator: means the Treasurer of the State of New Jersey, any individual serving as the Acting Treasurer in the absence of the appointed Treasurer, and any State employee to whom the Treasurer has delegated authority to administer the provisions of this chapter and to execute any pertinent documents. - Person: means an individual, business association, state or other government, governmental subdivision or agency, public corporation, public authority, estate, trust, two or more persons having a joint or common interest, or any other legal or commercial entity. See New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-6

46:30B-103. Interest payable for failure to pay or deliver property in time. A person who fails to pay or deliver property within the time prescribed by this chapter shall pay to the administrator interest at the annual rate of 10% above the annual rate of discount, in effect on the date the property should have been paid or delivered, for the most recent issue of 52-week United States Treasury bills on the property or value thereof from the date the property should have been paid or delivered.
