Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-75

  • Administrator: means the Treasurer of the State of New Jersey, any individual serving as the Acting Treasurer in the absence of the appointed Treasurer, and any State employee to whom the Treasurer has delegated authority to administer the provisions of this chapter and to execute any pertinent documents. See New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-6
  • State: means any state in the United States, district, commonwealth, territory, insular possession, or any other area subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. See New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-6
  • Utility: means a person who owns or operates for public use any plant, equipment, property, franchise, or license for the transmission of communications or the production, storage, transmission, sale, delivery, or furnishing of electricity, water, steam, or gas. See New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-6
46:30B-75. The administrator shall invest and reinvest all moneys deposited into the Unclaimed Personal Property Trust Fund and the Unclaimed Utility Deposits Trust Fund in the State of New Jersey Cash Management Fund or in bonds or interest-bearing notes or obligations a. of the United States, or b. guaranteed as to principal and interest by the United States, or c. for the payment of the principal and interest of which the full faith and credit of the United States are distinctly pledged, or d. of the State of New Jersey, or e. of a governmental entity of the State of New Jersey.
