Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 52:27D-423
- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. - State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
a. Procedures for intervention and gaining access by a county protective services provider to a vulnerable adult who is the subject of a report of abuse, neglect or exploitation, including the safeguarding of that person‘s civil liberties;
b. Procedures for the reporting, collection, retention and use of information secured at the county and State levels to effectuate this act;
c. Procedures for maintaining confidentiality when required or when deemed necessary;
d. Procedures for the review and evaluation of the performance of a county protective services provider; and
e. Procedures for the reallocation of State funds by the director or his designee if programs and services do not meet the requirements of this act or rules established by the commissioner.
