Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 54:10A-36
- National Bank: A bank that is subject to the supervision of the Comptroller of the Currency. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is a bureau of the U.S. Treasury Department. A national bank can be recognized because it must have "national" or "national association" in its name. Source: OCC
As used in this act, “banking corporation” means a bank as defined in section 1 of The Banking Act of 1948, c. 67, and also means a national bank.
