Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 5:12-95.15

  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. Obligations and Responsibilities. During the period of interim authorization, the commission and the division shall continue such procedures as are provided by the “Casino Control Act,” P.L. 1977, c. 110 (C. 5:12-1 et seq.) and the regulations promulgated thereunder as may be necessary for a determination of the qualification of the person granted interim authorization. The obligations and responsibilities incumbent upon an applicant, licensee or person required to be qualified are in no way relieved by the granting of interim authorization.
