- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. As a condition of granting a State license to any such association, where the said association is itself to operate an amusement game or amusement games, the association shall pay an annual fee of $50.00 per game ; except that, any association which is nonprofit shall be exempt from payment of any State license fee if the proceeds from the games are used for charitable purposes. Where the operator of the game at an agricultural fair and exhibition conducted under the auspices of such an association is to be a person holding a concession to operate at the fair and exhibition from the association holding the same, such operator shall pay for the State license an annual fee of $50.00 for each game to be operated at the fair and exhibition, but if said operator is a licensee under the “Amusement Games Licensing Law” and has paid the annual fee of $250.00 for a State license, he shall not be required to pay the said fee of $50.00 for each game to be operated unless he operates more than five games, in which case he shall pay for the State license an additional annual fee of $50.00 for each game in excess of five.
