All instruments conveying real property which were voided solely under the provisions of Laws 1965, Chapter 300, Section 14-19-13 [3-20-14 N.M. Stat. Ann.], are validated. After the effective date of this section, no court of this state has jurisdiction to entertain any question based upon the provisions of Laws 1965, Chapter 300, section 14-19-13.
Terms Used In New Mexico Statutes 3-20-16
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
