Immediately upon canvassing the results of the election held pursuant to N.M. Stat. Ann. Chapter 4, Article 33, the board of county commissioners shall cause a certified copy of its certificate of election to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in both counties and shall cause a copy to be delivered to the department of finance and administration, the taxation and revenue department and the county assessor of each county affected.
