The district court has jurisdiction to adjudicate parentage pursuant to the New Mexico Uniform Parentage Act. The provisions of the New Mexico Uniform Parentage Act shall not be used to expand personal jurisdiction of the district court over nonresident persons in cases subject to the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act [N.M. Stat. Ann. Chapter 40, Article 6A].
