The applicant must give notice as described by Section 1-401 [45-1-401 N.M. Stat. Ann.] of his intention to seek an appointment informally to any person demanding it pursuant to Section 3-204 [45-3-204 N.M. Stat. Ann.]. No other notice of an informal appointment proceeding is required, except that the personal representative shall give notice pursuant to the provisions of Section 3-705 [45-3-705 N.M. Stat. Ann.].
