The appointment of a special administrator pursuant to Section 3-614 [45-3-614 N.M. Stat. Ann.] terminates in accordance with the provisions of the order of appointment or on the appointment of a general personal representative. In other cases, the appointment of a special administrator is subject to termination by resignation, or upon removal for cause, as provided in Sections 3-608 through 3-611 N.M. Stat. Ann. § 45-3-608 to 45-3-611.
