As used in this act N.M. Stat. Ann. § 57-21-1 to 57-21-3, “health care practitioner” means anyone licensed or certified to provide health care services in this state and includes but is not limited to nurses, physicians, dentists, osteopaths, chiropractors, optometrists, podiatrists, acupuncturists, psychiatrists, psychologists and physical therapists; provided that “health care practitioner” shall not include anyone licensed to provide health care services in this state who employs ten or more physicians.
