Sections 171 through 179 N.M. Stat. Ann. § 59A-10-11 to 59A-10-19 of this article applicable to a United States manager shall, in the case of insurers domiciled in Mexico or Canada, be deemed to refer to the president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer or other comparable officer of the insurer duly authorized by the insurer’s board of directors or other similar governing body to act in behalf of the insurer as to the insurer’s trusteed assets hereunder.
