A. Where temporary license is otherwise provided for in the Insurance Code as to a particular category of licensee, application therefor shall be made in the same manner as applies to permanent license under N.M. Stat. Ann. Chapter 59A, Article 11 with such modification therein as the superintendent may prescribe, and without payment of examination fee.

B. The superintendent may issue a temporary insurance producer license for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty days without requiring an examination if the superintendent deems that the temporary license is necessary for the servicing of an insurance business in accordance with the Insurance Code.
