In carrying out the responsibilities enumerated in Section 3 [75-4-3 N.M. Stat. Ann.] of this act, the state climatologist shall seek the assistance of the geophysical research center at the New Mexico institute of mining and technology, the remote sensing facility at the university of New Mexico and other appropriate agencies and facilities for scientific support.
