§ 7501. Definition of practice as a certified shorthand reporter. The practice as a certified shorthand reporter is defined as engaging, under such title, in making by a written system of either manual shorthand or machine shorthand, a verbatim record of any oral court proceeding, disposition, hearing or proceeding before any grand jury, referee, commissioner, or arbitrator, or of any convention, deliberative assembly, or meeting of like character.
