§ 767. Separability. If any provision of this article or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the article and the application of such provision to other persons or circumstance shall not be affected thereby.
Terms Used In N.Y. General Business Law 767
- Person: means any individual, firm, corporation, association or partnership, cooperative association, joint venture, joint stock association, business trust, their lessees, trustees or receivers, governmental unit or public authority whether or not incorporated. See N.Y. General Business Law 760
- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
