§ 1830-a. Conveyance of state land. Notwithstanding § 33 of the public lands law the commissioner of general services shall have power, in his discretion, from time to time to grant and convey to the authority, upon such terms and conditions including consideration as the commissioner of general services may fix and determine, unappropriated state lands, lands under water, abandoned canal lands and salt springs lands which the authority shall certify to be in conformity with its corporate purposes. Certification shall be evidenced by a formal request from the authority and shall be subject to the approval of the director of the budget.
